Our dearest Holly left her body on earth on Wednesday August 9, 2023. Her spirit was freed from mortal confines. Despite the efforts of countless, and in-spite of the love of so many for so long. She was brave and determined to the last, and her loving heart poured forth to her family and to the villagers she was one of.
Holly was a Southern California native, born in Long Beach, lived in Downey then to La Mirada where she graduated from La Mirada High School in 1977. She attended Fullerton College following graduation. Holly moved to Mission Viejo in 1982 when she and Bob were married. She worked in the furniture business, raised her children, and later spent her career in the Capistrano Unified School District where she worked in the front office initially and later aided Special Needs children in the classroom. Miss Holly was loved by her students and parents, as well as her co-workers.
She was fun loving and gregarious, outgoing and outspoken. Holly was competitive. Tennis, Ping Pong, Pickleball were her favorites to play. Family beach and mountain times were also part of who she was. She had a knack for entertainment trivia and could name most actors and actresses on sight.
Holly is survived by her father Pete and Sandy Kozak, husband Bob, son Adam, and daughter Ryan and son in law Natale. The Family asks that you share love with those around you in her honor and memory, and give thanks for the blessings we all are granted.
We will never forget her patented eye-rolls.
May perpetual light shine upon her soul.
She is free of her pains and we are grateful for that, and her beautiful spirit will live in eternity in us and the memories we carry and echo.
A celebration of her life and services in her memory are to be held on September 16, 2023 10:00 AM PDT
