

Janice was born on January 19, 1941, in El Reno, Oklahoma to Joe Pearl and Mary Baca Pearl. Known as Jan, she personified generosity, grace and strength. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a joyous laugh and was a trusted and thoughtful friend to all who were lucky to call her one. She put herself through college to earn a business degree and was a meticulous business manager for many years successfully advising her clients through all aspects of their businesses. She loved going to the local movie theater for the weekly double feature with her sister as a child, which lead to a lifelong appreciation of the arts. She was very active in various groups including the Red Hat Society, where she was Co-Queen on the Red Sails. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Mary Sylvia Inman (Wayne); her ex-husband Paul Robertson; and her grandson, David Alan Houston.
She is survived by her children, Anita “Liz” Van De Vanter (Mark), Michele Robertson; her grandchildren, Eryn Houston, Amy Knox (Travis); one great granddaughter as well as her niece Terri Sullivan and nephew Steve Inman.
