Jeffrey Edward Simmons

Born on October 12, 1948, in New York, Jeff was the beloved son of Harry and Sarah Simmons. He grew up in Philadelphia and later moved to California, where he built a successful career as a healthcare executive. Over the course of his career, he formed many deep and lasting connections with close friends and trusted business partners.

Throughout his life, Jeff was known for his warmth, quick humor, and steadfast devotion to his family. He had a passion for travel and spent many happy years surrounded by the people he loved—and by his dogs, KC, Bezoar, Spazzy, Falkor, and most recently, Piper. He will be especially remembered for always putting his loved ones first and for the joy he brought to every room he entered.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Lisa Simmons; his daughter, Stacy Simmons (Sohrab Aalam); his son, Brandon Simmons (Hinda Sittnick); his granddaughter, Penelope Simmons; his sister, Ruth Simmons Malkasian (David Malkasian); his niece, Jill Kazares (Isa and Felipe Abasto); and his nephew, Kevin Kazares (Marg Kazares)

Those who knew Jeff will remember him for his humor, generosity, and the lasting legacy of love he built with his family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on October 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Pacific View Mortuary & Memorial Park located at 3500 Pacific View Dr, Corona Del Mar, CA 92625

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeff’s memory to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN)

The family is especially grateful to the incredible nurses and caregivers who cared for Jeff with such kindness and compassion, allowing him to spend his final days comfortably at home, surrounded by those he loved, as well as to the many friends and family who shared their love, support, and memories during that time.
