John Allen Braun

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to parents Alfred A. and Elizabeth Anne (née Rule) Braun on Friday, February 10, 1956, and spent his childhood growing up in Euclid, Ohio, the eldest of five.

Before moving to California in 1980, John met the love of his life Virginia “Ginger” Akers, marrying October 28, 1978, starting their family in 1979 with the birth of Christopher A.

Once settled in Riverside, California, their family welcomed Timothy A. (1984) and Virginia Lee (1988).

John was proudly employed by Northrop Grumman Aerospace & Defense Technology Corporation, Woodland Hills, California, as a Senior Network Engineer.

He was an avid and loyal fan of the Cleveland Browns, full of hopes to see the Browns win a Super Bowl someday.

John is survived by his loving and dedicated wife and children; daughter in law Melissa; grandsons Dustin, Hayden, Cameron, and Louis; granddaughters Kylie and Reina; brothers Richard A.(Kathy) and Phillip A. (Maymay); sister Judy Erbs (Bob); several nieces, nephews and great nephew; plus many cousins and other family members and friends. He was so very proud of his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

John’s final resting place will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, Ohio, in the early part of 2022, date yet to be confirmed.
