My condolences to the Santa Maria family; Jose will be missed dearly
Jose is with the good LORD  in peace and love ; no more pain or tears just the beautiful presence of the good LORD ; may the good LORD keep youre soul and keep you playing soccer and when we meet again, I will make sure I add more shrimp to the island soup. Chato say hi to Indio and Enzo , Angel.

Mi querido amigo José,

Tu partida me cayó como un balde de agua fría. Nunca imaginé que te irías así, tan de pronto, y me duele profundamente no haber tenido la oportunidad de despedirme de ti. Siempre estuviste en mi pensamiento, hermano, pero entre el trabajo y la familia, el tiempo fue pasando… y ahora me pesa no haber hecho esa llamada a tiempo.

Aún escucho tu voz llamándome “Caballerazo” como siempre lo hacías en nuestras conversaciones, con esa energía, humor, elegancia que te caracterizaba y cariño únicos. Me cuesta escribir estas palabras, porque nunca pude decirte en persona que eres, fuiste y seguirás siendo un gran amigo de vida.

Desde el primer momento en que nos cruzamos en Supermicro, supe la calidad de persona que eras. Desde entonces, no faltaban las oportunidades para compartir un almuerzo o una cena cada vez que visitabas la oficina. Incluso cuando cambié de trabajo y te conté que Microsoft me había hecho una oferta, me animaste sin dudar: “Caballerazo, no lo pienses, anda y triunfa”. Esos consejos se quedaron conmigo para siempre.

Fueron tiempos hermosos: de risas, anécdotas y conversaciones sinceras. Siempre hablabas con orgullo de tu familia, de tu esposa, tu hija, tu mamá. Ese amor y devoción decían mucho de ti.

Te llevo en el corazón, hermano. Eres un verdadero guerrero, como te lo dije una vez. Gracias por tu amistad, por tu lealtad, por tu ejemplo. Solo te adelantaste un poco en el camino, y aunque duele, me reconforta pensar que ya no sufres y que ahora descansas en paz.

Vuela alto, mi hermano. Siempre estarás presente en mi mente y en mi corazón.

Mis más sinceras condolencias para tu hermosa familia. Les deseo mucha fortaleza en estos momentos tan difíciles.

My family is saddened by Jose's departure.  The times we shared together in the office, as well as after working hours were always enjoyable and will remain in our memory forever.  It was fun and coincidental that we ended up vacationing in Hawaii at the same time and place.  Our families got together on the island and had a wonderful time laughing and enjoying each other's company.
That said, we will always remember Jose as a happy and fun person, a great work colleague, and a wonderful friend with whom to spend time together with.   

Our condolences go out to Joanne, Grace and the rest of Jose's family.  May Jose rest in peace and may his memory remain with us forever.

The departure of beloved José has left an ache in my hearts, a quiet reminder of life’s fleeting nature and the enduring beauty of a soul so generously lived. His laughter, his gentle presence, the way he made everyone feel truly seen—these are treasures I hold close, urging me to honor him not with despair but with a resolve to mirror his virtues in our own lives.

The weight of this loss is undeniable, but we can choose how to carry it: with gratitude for the gift of his friendship and with a commitment to live in ways that keep his spirit alive. Every act of compassion we offer, every moment we choose integrity over ease, becomes a tribute to José, whose life reminds us that the measure of our days lies not in their number but in their depth. In this season of grief, I extend to you my unwavering support and love, that together we may celebrate his legacy while navigating this sorrow, knowing his light continues to guide us toward the goodness he embodied.

Brother, Joe Momma,  Life will not be the same without you.  Who will I argue with now…who’s gonna ask me, “ what’s wrong with your mouth?” Because I talk to loud, or tell me I must have left my butt on the seat because I don’t have one. t’s hard to put into words the kind of person Jose was—because he wasn’t just a great coworker; he was a truly radiant soul who brought joy into every room he walked into. He had this rare gift of making work feel less like work and more like a space to laugh, connect, and lift each other up. Always optimistic, endlessly funny, and full of life, he reminded us daily of the good in the world.

Whether it was cracking a joke to lighten a meeting or sharing thoughtful words during tough times, Jose gave us so much more than we ever expected. His presence was a constant reminder that positivity is powerful, and that kindness doesn’t cost a thing.

We’ll miss him deeply. But we’ll also carry his spirit forward—the laughter, the warmth, and that contagious enthusiasm for life. Rest easy, Jose. You left a mark on all of us.

I'm deeply saddened by the passing of beloved former colleague, Jose. His kindness, dedication, and positive spirit left a lasting impact on all of us, and his absence will be profoundly felt. It was truly a privilege to work alongside him, and I will always cherish the memories we shared. My thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time. May they find comfort in knowing how deeply his was respected and admired.

Joe and Joanne were the best neighbors for 19 years. We loved how kind and caring they were. The most special memory was when we decided to lay sod together and make our two yards merge together. We loved working side by side with Joe prepping and planning. Joe was a hard working man and took great care of his family. We love you all!

A great joy in my life when I stood for Joe and Joanne on their wedding day 26 years ago.  My dearest friend for life.  What an honor. I love you both.
