Joseph Edward Pallone

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Joseph Edward Pallone, who passed away on July 11, 2026, at the age of 87 in his residence in Lake Forest CA

Joe was born on October 1, 1938, in Youngstown, OH, to Frank and Mary (Philomena) Pallone. He spent his life dedicated to his loving family, his teaching career, and keeping in touch with family and friends. Joe was known for his engaging personality, his wit, his genuine interest and love of people, and his kindness and willingness to help others.

Joe graduated from St Edwards High School in Lakewood OH, attended El Camino Community College, and graduated from CA State University at Long Beach in 1968. He worked for Los Angeles Unified School District teaching Industrial Crafts and Industrial Arts at Stephen M. White Middle School in Carson CA for 30 years. Because of his love of food and his interest in woodworking, he loved watching cooking, home improvement and woodworking programs on TV. He especially enjoyed collecting and sharing recipes with anyone who also shared his love of cooking. He enjoyed finding and investigating new restaurants and learning about their varied cuisines. He looked forward to travelling to Hawaii with his family sampling Hawaiian food and culture everywhere he visited.

Above all, Joe cherished time with family and friends. He found great joy in being a part of his children and his grandchildren’s lives. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, great sense of humor, his Catholic faith and most of all for his unending love for his family.

Joe is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Pallone, his loving sons, Christopher and Jeffrey Pallone, his beloved grandchildren, Joey and MiaBella Pallone, and his wonderful and caring daughter-in-law, Stacy Pallone. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Rosemarie and Joe Favazza of Middleburg Heights OH, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara and Jerry Jarrett of Lake Forest and his many beloved nephews and nieces.

Joe’s wishes for no funeral services will be honored by a special family dinner held in his honor. The family hopes that acts of kindness will be performed in Joe's memory.

The Pallone family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to his doctor and friend, Dr. Chad Wadell and staff (Mission Viejo CA), Dr. John Hu and staff (Mission Viejo CA), and Dr. Steven Tran. Our sincere gratitude also extends to his home health nursing team, Daniel Gonzalez and Mark Ramos, from Providence Home Healthcare, and the wonderful and caring staff at Providence/Compassus Hospice for their end-of-life support and comfort, and especially to his many friends and neighbors for their unending expressions of sympathy and love during this sorrowful time.

Although Joe is no longer with us, his love, legacy, and memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
