

Karl was born on January 20, 1938 in Ashland, PA to Francis Joseph Beierschmitt, Jr. and Adrienne Armada Beierschmitt (née Langton). He is survived by his wife Margie, daughter Amy, sister Gena, thirteen nieces and nephews, one great niece, many close cousins and numerous dear friends.
Karl was a member of St Kilian’s church in Mission Viejo, the Elk’s and the Knights of Columbus. He served in the United States Air Force for four years as a Medic in various countries. He received his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania.
Karl’s careers included dental/medical manufacturing and sales. He left that business to become a financial planner for thirty-nine years before his retirement. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to be involved in many small businesses. Most of all, Karl enjoyed being able to counsel and help others with his experience.
Karl loved his martini’s, fine wine, cooking, travel, adventures and telling stories. Fishing trips were a popular weekend excursion. He enjoyed spending time with Holly, his beloved beagle. Karl loved his family, his friends and Saint Joseph.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St Kilian’s church in Mission Viejo on Saturday, October 2nd at 10:30 am followed by Karl's Celebration of Life at the Mission Viejo Elks Lodge at 11:30 am. Karl will be buried at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego on Tuesday, October 5th at 11:00 am.
