Miss you every day my friend!  Love you to the moon and back.

How many times a day do I think of you and want to pick up my phone and call you?  I miss you so much friend and I think of you all of the time, knowing you're up there with the Big Guy and you're always keeping an eye on me.  Thank you for giving me some of the best memories of my life with the times we shared together.   You're still my BFF.  Love you  and miss you always!

Some of the happiest years of my life were getting together for family reunions. It all started at my cousin Jean Buckley's wedding, Kaye and I talked about having a reunion to get all the cousins, uncles, and aunts together! It snowed at our first reunion in 1981, but we still had a great time! We have spent many breakfasts at the Sandpiper restaurant on 59, planning the itinerary for the next reunion and getting together for birthdays. She was the first person to come and visit me at Glen Oaks when I had my daughter Veronica. Kaye always gave the nicest personalized cards, gifts, and beautifully handwritten notes, for birthdays and anniversaries; she never missed one! She was all about family; her greatest joy was Kevin, Mike, her grandchildren, and their families.   It was a beautiful tribute to your mom, and Bill and I were honored to be a part of it. I was truly blessed to have such a wonderful cousin and a dear friend, and will cherish the times we spent together!

Family was always Kaye's first love, and I am glad she was able to spend so much time with her beloved Michael, Kevin and their families.   Kaye's love and enthusiasm for family showed in everything she did.  Kaye and her cousin Peg started the Mullaney Family Reunions in 1981.  They put this book together for the 25th Reunion.
  

Best Friends Forever, since summer 1985!  Kaye loved to dance and we went to many singles dances together.  She loved Eyes to the Skies HotAirBalloons and Fireworks Show in Lisle.  When she lived at Wheaton Towers, 11th floor, we set up lawn chairs on her balcony to watch the panorama of fireworks in towns all around us.  Once she took herself on the train to the Tulip Time Festival in Holland, MI.  We cried together.  Mostly we laughed together, like when I visited her in 2009 in Ladera Ranch, we asked a fella in Dana Point to take our picture and something he said got us laughing the rest of the day.  Since arriving in California in 2007, Kaye's love grew from Mike's one son Damien to adding beloved grandsons Lucian, Cicero, & Killian (with a nod of thanks for Renee's care).  Kevin & Abby then added 2 more beloved grandchildren Mia & Dylan.  Family - always Kaye's #1!
