Dearest Linda., a loyal and trusted colleague, a spiritual advisor, & such a beautiful human being, whom I’m honored to call a friend, for over two decades. I will always remember your smile, and all the good times we shared. You leave to join Our Lord, much too soon. I just know there must be a shortage of Angels in Heaven! Your legacy lives on, through all those you’ve touched, and especially your endless love for your beautiful, loving family. Rest In Peace, dearest friend, until we laugh together again...

I'm so sorry to learn of Linda's passing. In the late 2000s and early 2010s, she was active in the Orange County chapter of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD; now Association for Talent Development, or ATD). With service to the Board for a year or two during that period, she was a tremendous help to me on the chapter's 40th anniversary celebration in May 2010. • You can be well assured Heaven gained an angel with Linda's instantaneous entrance there, so loyal and faithful an ambassador of Jesus she was on earth. God bless you all during this transition.

I met Linda just a few yesrs ago whrn my granddaughters joined her girl scout troop. From day 1 she made us feel like part of the family. She loved her troop and i could see the joy she had teaching them what they needed to know for camping or earning badges. She became an important person in our lives and we will miss her, but take with us many wonderful memories. Rest in Paradise Linda

My sincere condolences to the Huey family. Linda was a colleague for many years. She was a very accomplished professional, but remained humble. She was an amazing, kind person. She touched the lives of so many, making the world a better place. Linda will be truly missed, and always with us in spirit.
Many Blessings, Juanita Doby

Linda and I relationship lasted around 11 years and in those 11 years had broken up a few times. You can love a person but realize you are not meant for each other. If not for our kids, our path probably would have not cross. I always had a special place for Linda in my heart. When I found out Linda had cancer and probably would not live long I asked Laura if she would find out if I could call Linda and talk to her. Laura told me I could talk to her. Linda and I would have long conversation and enjoy talking to each other. I had found there was a peace with Linda and she was spiritual with God. When I was in the relationship with Linda we both had accepted Jesus Christ as our savior, but was not close to God (in other words we were not walking Christians). I am working on being close to God and want what Linda have being spiritual close with God. Linda will definitely be missed and is in a much better place. God Bless you Linda.
