Lori Elaine (George) Prospero, age 42, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2021 at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, due to complications from pneumonia. Her Father, Mother and Brother were at her side. She is at peace with God.
Lori was born on July 17, 1979 in Mission Viejo. She spent the majority of her life in the Rancho Santa Margarita/Mission Viejo area but also lived in Barrington, IL for three years and most recently in Meridian, ID. A 1997 graduate of Aliso Niguel High School, Lori was a member of the cheer squad for three years and voted Best Smile her Senior year.
Throughout her life, she was known for her infectious smile, creativity, humor, caring, compassion and friendship. From an early age, Lori enjoyed music, reading, movies, the beach and “hanging out” with friends. She was a loving mother and passed on all of these wonderful qualities and passions to her beautiful daughter, Starlee (9).
Lori is survived by her husband Rene and their daughter Starlee, parents, Mike and Liz George, brother Brian and his wife and two daughters as well as aunt and uncle, Julie and Greg Pickard.
Lori will be dearly missed by family and her many friends. She is in God’s care now.
Visitation/Viewing will be held from 3:00pm – 7:00pm on September 17, 2021 at Fairhaven Memorial Services in Mission Viejo.
In light of the ongoing COVID pandemic, the family requests that all who attend wear a mask.
