I met Marilyn when I started working with Leslie. I always think of her as a very proper lady. She was always dressed to the tea, hair done, jewelry and always lipstick. She always had a smile. I always enjoyed getting to visit with her when I was visiting Leslie. I am so happy I got to see her the last time I was down. We had a nice visit singing silly songs. I will miss our visits. Heaven is singing Sinatra with Marilyn.

Kim and Leslie.

Your mom was such an inspirational figure to me. She was truly my second mom. She had a way about her that always made me feel welcome, as if I were one of her own children. I loved seeing her roll her eyes when she heard a comment that she did not necessarily agree with. Her actions always made me smile. She was genuine and kind. Always willing to lend a hand to whomever needed it. I will miss you Mom Germain. You will forever be in my heart!

My love to you girls and your beautiful families!

Kim & Leslie

I only met your beautiful Mom briefly in person. Her beauty was striking. She spoke with me with such a gentle and kind grace. She made an impression on me.
I felt the strong love and pride she had for you girls. You will continue to be in my daily prayers, that you find comfort and healing going forward.

Marilyn was the essence of elegance. She was warm, witty and caring. She had a sly way of smiling and rolling her eyes when she didn't like something. It always made me laugh. She was very special to me and my daughter Emily. The world was a better place for us having known Marilyn.

I had the privilege of meeting Marilyn at one the San Juan Mission guild functions. We had the opportunity at many other guild functions after that to visit also. Leslie, her daughter brought her to these fund raisers. Marilyn was beautiful, fashionable and very warm and friendly. You could tell by talking with her that she loved her daughters dearly. She had a kind disposition and I am blessed to have met her even though it was for a short time.

Leslie/Kim,
Your mom was a special lady to me. I enjoyed all the times she came out with us and we always had fun. She probably has a glass of wine in her hand now while she looks down on us. She truly will be missed.
Love,
Denis

Marilyn was truly a special woman. She was the epitome of grace, elegance, charm, and wit. Her humor was unmatched and she always knew how to make you laugh. Even as her dementia progressed, Marilyn was brave and continued to fight it and pursued her one goal, to make everyone around her shine with her light. I recall being asked to sing at her birthday party last year at Belmont. I, of course, obliged for my #1 fan. I recall calling out the name of the song I was about to sing and Marilyn would say, “Oh, that’s my favorite.” Every song was her favorite. Music was her favorite. Living life to the fullest was her favorite. She was such a special woman and I will always cherish my time that I had with her. May her soul find peace and may she continue to guide us through the glorious quest of life.
