

Marvin Ernest Flood, 87 of Trabuco Canyon, CA passed away at his home with his family by his side on Thursday, June 24, 2021. He was born July 10, 1933 in Northport, MI to Dr. Robert E. Flood and Geta L (Haynes) Flood. He grew up and attended schools in Northport and universities in Michigan. Following his education Marvin went into the medical field pursuing several different areas from emergency first responder to head of respiratory therapy departments at several Los Angeles area hospitals. While working in this field, Marvin met the love of his life Gail Patricia Arrowood who was working as a nurse at UCLA in the emergency room and the couple later married. Marvin retired from the medical field at a young age and pursued a second career as an entrepreneur and investor. Marvin loved his dogs, travel, nature and the water. His passion for the water inspired him to have a home on Lake Michigan and later a home on the beach in Oregon. Although Marvin had many interest, his greatest passion was simply spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of over 57 years, Gail; one son Michael Flood (wife, Norma); one daughter, Danna Flood; four grandchildren, Rachel, Michael, Shannon, and Nazir; one niece, Lynda.
Preceding him in death was his brother, Donald Flood.
