

Mary Katherine “Mary Kay” Campbell McAustin, 82, of Lake Forest, California, passed away on February 18, 2018.
The funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on February 26, 2018 at Fairhaven Memorial Services. Mr. Donald Fitch of Tustin will be officiating. Burial will follow the funeral at El Toro Memorial Park at 1:30 p.m. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fairhaven Memorial Services.
Mary Kay was born in Whiteriver, Arizona on September 17, 1935. She graduated from Kirtland Central High School in 1952 and continued her education at the University of New Mexico.
Mary Kay was married to Glenn Nelson Campbell on July 23, 1954 and widowed after 22 years of marriage. She married Edwin Kenneth “Ken” McAustin on June 8, 1990. They were married 22 years.
Mary Kay enjoyed family gatherings, sewing, playing cards and board games. She was an Alpha Chi Omega sorority sister and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Mary Kay is survived by her daughter Gayle (Richard) Winder; grandchildren Amber Campbell, Stephanie (Jonathan) Siegel, Kyle (Katie) Sapak, Taylor (Sean Austin) Campbell-Austin, Joshua Campbell, Cory Sapak; great grandchildren Kobe, Ciara, and Nathan Pereda, Devin Campbell-Austin, Ethan Austin, Kennedy and Kade Sapak, Jack, Hayden and Abbey Siegel and other family and friends.
Mary Kay is preceded in death by her parents George Washington and Marietta Eubank, her husbands, Glenn Campbell and Ken McAustin, and her son, Donald Glenn Campbell.
