Maureen Ann Martin passed away after a 6 year battle with cancer on May 23, 2019. Reenie was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, friend and artist. Her Immediate family was at her side when she passed. She is survived by her Daughter Beth Koppes Lee of Ladera Ranch, Son Bryan Koppes of Herald Ca, Daughter-in-law Amanda Koppes of Herald Ca, Granddaughters Megan and Jessica Lee, her mother Betty Martin of Yorba Linda, three Sisters Mary Hobson Thompson of Yorba Linda, Liz Meredith of Bakersfield, Joan Holder of Arkansas.
Maureen’s parents came to California and settled in Downey. In 1961 when they moved the family to the city of Orange Ca. Maureen, known to us as “Reenie”, grew up in Orange and was a 1967 graduate of Villa Park High School. She was involved in the yearbook committee, Latin Club, Glee, Girls League and a YWCA camp counselor. She majored in art at Fullerton College and worked in many art related jobs throughout her career. Reenie was gifted, selfless and caring lady and devoted most of her time to helping others. Her daughter, son and two granddaughters were the love of her life. She was active and involved at Community Christian Church in Anaheim.
