Thank  you to Pam's family for sharing her with us.  She was there for me when I was so very lost.  She came to my (emotional) rescue with a smile and a hug.  We talked a lot so I know she knew how much I appreciated it, but I wanted her family  to know what a life saver she was for me.  I will be forever grateful that I was able to meet her.   Pam was simply a lovely person.  We are all better for having had her in our lives, no matter how great or little the time.  

Pam - So many years ago we shared so much - our lives in Raymond,  Maine with all the silly, goofy, wonderful fun we had together.   Independently, we followed very similar career paths and family lives,  but sadly we only briefly met up again since then.
I will always remember your wonderful sense of humor, your commitment to your family, and your joy of living.
Rest well, dear friend, and give my love to Joe.

My oldest friend in the entire world, I will miss you more than you could know. The memories of a lifetime come flooding back. You led the way, and never cared if anyone followed because you were always comfortable walking down whichever road you chose. Creative, strong and determined, warm, honest, kind, and a bit of a character, you always lived with a strong commitment to family, friendship, work, and....animals. In all of the years as friends, you never failed to call on EVERY birthday no matter where in the country or world we lived--that meant a lot.

You leave a beautiful and extraordinary family and many friends who will miss you terribly, but who will always have the memories to sustain them. I hope Joe  is helping to settle you in (with the dogs by your side), and I know he has welcomed you with a really strong G&T followed by one of his great wines.
