Pete was Heaven sent and touched so many with his genuine love for everyone. He always, with his great personality to just say hi... how are you and the conversation would just escalate and you just felt you knew him forever! I will be forever be grateful to know him and his beautiful wife Joy. Aloha 'Oe~Until we meet again 🙏☝😔💙💖

We met Peter and Joy at Covina Assembly in 1979 >Many-many great times were experienced with Evaro's family. Cathy & I will miss his Thursday suppers and his great creative decorating ideas. So much more could be said but we were overwhelmed with the CELEBRATION service and the Popineau pastors involvement in the service.
Peter , we will see you in the morning and WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE ......
Blessings to the children. You know we are here for your guys.

Joe and I were so sad to hear about Pete’s passing. We both loved him, our love and prayers go out to the Evaro and Novarro families.
Although we hadn’t seen Pete in several years we kept in touch on Facebook. RIP Pete with Jesus and Joy.

So many memories of younger times with Peter as we attended our family church in Irwindale. He was our organist, pianist, youth leader and relative to all of the congregation. Without him and Joy and others, this Tenpenny family would not exist. He will be missed by all of us.

Sending our love and prayers to the family.

We will miss Pete so much. He welcomed me into the family from the very start—always asking questions, showing interest, and never judging. He just was one of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever met. Our gatherings won’t be the same without Pete.

We have so many fond memories of Pete. He was Class personified! The incredible parties he would host where his gift of hospitality and decorating were evident to us all. He was kind and considerate and willing to serve or help out whenever called on. The other fact about Pete that was inspiring to me was his ability to live life to the fullest and always enjoy the journey. Our lives have been enriched by having known and loved Pete! We know that Joy was the first to greet Pete when he entered heaven! Oh what a reunion that must have been!
All our love to your entire family!

You’re a special gift to us. You beautifully played the organ for Bill Stewarts funeral.
We had monthly catch up calls because you cared for our family at a
distance. We adore knowing we will be with you soon!
