Rafael Miranda Gómez

Born in Yurécuaro, Michoacán, Mexico, Rafael lived a life defined by hard work, humility, faith, and unconditional love for his family. He shared 39 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Mary Louise, who preceded him in death in 2003.

He is lovingly survived by his daughters, Lucy Ramirez, Dolores ("Dee") Gonzalez, and Gloria Landry; his cherished sons-in-law; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; his brothers and sister; nieces, nephews, godchildren, extended family, and many dear friends.

Rafael's legacy of love, faith, kindness, and devotion to family will live on in all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Services, 27856 Center Drive, Mission Viejo, CA 92692 on July 19, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A Spanish Rosary will take place at Fairhaven Memorial Services, Chapel, on July 19, 2026, from 5:00pm to 5:30pm, followed by an English Rosary at Fairhaven Memorial Service, Chapel, on July 19, 2026, from 6:00pm to 6:30pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano, 31520 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675 on July 20, 2026 at 11:00am, followed by a Committal Service at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, 7845 Santiago Cyn Rd, Orange, CA 92869 on July 20, 2026.
