Rick, you and I became instant friends as soon as Judy became your bride.  I loved my weekends in Coto with you, Jude and Toby.  We always laughed and talked about everything.  The best was seeing the expression on your face when Jude and I came back from our day long shopping trips.  The amount of packages was out of control.  I am focusing on those visit's to The Ferrandino B&B these days, as your loss is another sadness that breaks my heart.  Rest in peace my dear friend and give Jude my love, as always.

Rick, it's with a heavy heart that we say goodbye. Your big smile and laugh were something that we all looked forward to during the holidays. We felt your pain and saw your sadness after Judys passing. However, we know that although we're sad that we won't see that smile...we know that you and Judy are together again smiling in heaven. We were heartbroken for you with the passing of Judy and we are heartbroken now with the loss of you. You were such a wonderful part of our family and you will be missed at all the holiday gatherings. Give Judy a big hug from the Davis girls.

Rick was always a bright light in our family, with a big smile and a great attitude.  At this time of sadness, we are comforted by many happy memories...;  and the belief that Rick & Judy are now together in eternity.   They will both be deeply missed.

September was an unhappy month for our family.  Judy passed away unexpectedly,
and then ten days later Rick passed away.
We loved them both so much and will miss

My heart broke a little today hearing of Rick's passing. And then to learn of his wife's passing. I am truly so so sad. Rick was a ray of sunshine. He did not only do a stellar job helping me manage my pool, but he was always there by phone to answer questions or offer suggestions going above and beyond in his business. He did more than offer exemplary customer service. He was friendly, and warm, and I always enjoyed our chats, especially about our love of cocker spaniels...we had laughs about the antics of all of them ( I have 3). If their dog needs a home please feel free to reach out to me. I volunteer with a cocker spaniel rescue. I send healing loving energy to Rick and Judy's family. He was a truly special man. Hold tight to all the wonderful memories. I am so grateful Rick was in my life even in the smallest of ways.

Uncle Rick, Just as I was beginning to picture our new future holidays, you left us too. I am so sorry for your pain and broken heart. I hope you know all the little things you did for us, never went unnoticed. You were at all the events/recitals/weddings/graduations/rock shows/holidays... and always with a smile on your face. We will miss you so much. Grace says you now have a new home in heaven with Aunty Judy. RIP Uncle Rick...Uncle Mustache.

I just can't imagine our lives without you and Judy.  Richard was every bit a brother to us in every way.  The four of us were so close and we spent so much time together going to movies, dinner out and just hanging out.  His wonderful smile and contagious laugh will be missed.  He was loving and friendly to all that knew him. An avid Lakers fan I will always remember him cursing the T.V. whenever his favorite team was losing. Rick you will always be in our hearts and I understand now how deep your love was for my sister. Rest in peace my dear Brother-in-law as you join my sister in  Heaven.

Stepdad, I wish you didn't leave me so soon! I miss Mom and you so much. We all had many good memories. You were a role model to me where you taught me about car, house and sports. You are the best stepdad I ever had! a man with humble and patience. You will always be in my heart.  Love Gary Brooks.
