A unique wit had Ron, always a slightly different way of looking at life to me, so a chat with him left me smiling, pondering and a bit more informed of how things worked. Especially when he kicked in his sense of humor as he warmed up to a subject, and off we would go down a winding path of fun. We will miss you mate and we will add support to the girls for you.

One of my memories of Ron was at Llangwnnadl.  We were all there on our annual summer holiday when Ron and his friend Brian came on their motor bikes to join the happy campers and teased me about having dimples on my cheeks.  I think I was about 8 or 9 at the time.  Many happy memories of Ron have continued into Adult life

Such sad news to hear of the passing of Ron. 
For me, Ron portrays the generation of a ‘true gent’. He was kind, caring and adored his family. 
I’ll never forget his smile, warm and friendly face. 

I’m sorry we didn’t get the chance to visit in April as we planned and were so looking forward to seeing you all and showing us the sights of your amazing city.

We grew up as cousins in Droylsden but as we got older and adult life took over, we drifted away. Ron, as with all my cousins, was never far from my thoughts. The first time I came over to your house Ashley introduced us and I immediately felt welcomed and at home. It was my first time meeting a proper British family and loved the greeting of a kiss on the cheek with a hug! Something about that left a deep impression on me and made me look forward to each visit. While I might not have known Ron well, I enjoyed the time I did spend in his company. I never understood his obsession with football but I loved watching his excitement about it when I happened to stop by during a match- it was infectious! Every time I saw Ron he had a smile on his face, even when he was having a hard day. He will be greatly missed; I'm so sorry for your loss.

Our hearts are so sad for Ron’s passing, he went to soon 😞 Our special neighbor who loved his Manchester United soccer ⚽️ team , our conversations about our teams and the many times he convinced me to keep joining our homeowners association board to make our community a better place. All this will be a special reminder of how a special a friend you were to our family, we will miss your conversations outside your home , your big smile, funny accent that I’m sure you thought the same our our accent ☺️ you will always be in our hearts and memories.

We were lucky to have loved Ron and been loved by Ron.  We will be forever grateful for the night that we were introduced to you all.  It seems like we have known you forever and I am thankful that Ron played golf as this was what brought you all into our lives.  Ron was a great friend to Andy and he will be missed.  Who will help Andy with all his electrical questions (there were many)  We have the greatest memories and will keep them close always.  Rest peacefully my friend, we will love you always. I first met Yolande’s dear husband Ron through her about a little over 2 year’s ago.  Yolande and I would always compare Ron and my dad and have a good laugh about it.  We would leave work together and Ron would be waiting to pick her up,  when we left we would give each other a wave, little did we know that a few weeks ago it would be Ron’s last time he would wave goodbye.  Ron always had a big smile on his face every time I saw him, I know he cherished his time here on earth with Yolande and his daughter Ashley, family and friends.  From what I could see he was a quiet gentle soul and cared for everyone he came in contact with.  Yolande and Ashley, no words can wipe those tears but remember the beautiful memories.  May God give you peace, strength and courage to ease the pain.  May Ron Rest In Peace.   Gone too soon.

Met Ron about 15 years ago and he was quite a character. We first bonded over World War 2 war stories and shows. We loved the "Band of Brothers" and we enjoyed telling each other about the scenes and the characters we loved. We thought anyone who enlisted were truly heroes. His more fun side was tough for people he just met and some were not sure how to take him. My advice was to just take Ron as he was. He could be deep, fun and just silly, and some of his impressions were just side splitting hilarious. Missing him already. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Yolande, Ashley and all of Ron's family at this very difficult time. 

Ron was a neighbor of mine when I lived in Brea… He served on the board of our association and was always so very friendly and helpful to everyone. We are both originally from England and shared some fun memories together. He loved his family dearly and always had a big smile on his face… Rest in peace my friend - Julia Brodrick 🕊🙏🏻🌹

It was a privilege to have Ron as a cousin, it didn't matter how long it was since we had last met, when we did it was as if it was yesterday.
Being the eldest of the cousins I have know him since he was born
and have a lot of great memories.
Such a shame we couldn't meet up last summer because of the pandemic.
Rest in Peace Ron, you will be sadly missed by your family and friends.

Ron. So many laughs in that office of yours next to the kitchen with me you and Terry.  Also to this day I never think of Man United or drive past your old house on the old road without murmuring "Bonjour Monsieur Eric" The mantra we had to say going up your stairs to the bathroom past the large Cantona poster and slapping it like your were coming out of the tunnel at old trafford. The Karaoke nights at yours, the nights we HAD TO go to the top chinese or Korean restaurants.  Your kindness to me personally and when Ken Leah died. So many many memories, all with a smile.
