Ron & I were hall mates; his office was across from mine in Hepner Hall.  He was greatly respected by his students.  He was such a great clinician yet would still seek out my advice on clinical issues, especially when culture was involved.  I sat with him on so many committees & witnessed how his sense of humor and fairness could  still the turbulent waters.
  He wrote my five year reviews & would  tailor them in such an honest, but graceful manner, highlighting my community involvement.  He was a sensitive man, always learning about human nature, and displaying his goodness just by how he treated others.  We need more human beings like him.
