On April 5th 2016, at the way too young age of 44, Scott McCarty was welcomed to the gates of heaven by the love of his life, his mother Susan. They are now together watching over all of us. Scott had many special talents and attributes. He succeeded in finance, real estate and property management for most of his adult life. Yet, at a time in our life when most of us choose to simply stay the course, Scott studied to become a certified gemologist, eventually entering into the world of buying and selling precious gems. More important than these accomplishments was Scott, the person .Scott can best be described by three words; love, loyalty and laughter. His love for his family and friends was unsurpassed. His loyalty to his family and friends was so strong that he always placed their needs above his own needs. His laughter and smile and his ability to make others laugh and smile, would immediately fill any room he was in. He was the best son, brother, brother in law, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend anyone could ever hope to have. Scott was a large man, but he needed to be in order to hold the biggest part of him, his huge heart. A heart that was big enough to hold the love he held for so many. Although many years too early, Scott passed away peacefully in his sleep in the arms of his soul mate. They had wonderful, hopeful plans for the future but, in the end HE had other plans for Scott. Scott is survived by his father DeMoine “Mac” McCarty, his sister and brother in law Jennifer and David Ricci, his nephews Jake and Brock Ricci, his partner Loveness Hoyange, and his loving aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Scott's Life will be held at Mission Viejo Christian Church, 27192 Jeronimo Rd, Mission Viejo,CA 92692, Thursday 14th April 2016 commencing at 7pm.
