Born in Corona and raised in Lakewood, Terry was defined by his work ethic and his family first philosophy. As a truck driver, he spent countless hours on the road, working tirelessly to ensure his family was always taken care of.
Sports were the heartbeat of Terry’s life. In his younger years, he was a presence on the baseball diamond, coaching his brothers’ teams with a winning attitude that inspired everyone on the field. Terry was never one for second-place trophies. It wasn't uncommon for those runner-up awards to find their way into the trash. That competitive fire followed him throughout his life, whether he was managing his fantasy football and baseball rosters or cheering for his sons at their games.
In his free time he loved to listen to his music and play John Denver on his guitar.
Terry is reunited in peace with his parents, Marilyn and Eugene Lasch, and his sister, Laurie.
His legacy lives on through his wife, Denise; his three sons, Ryan, Justen, and Tyler; and his cherished granddaughter, Lexi. He is also survived by his brothers, Tim and Scott, and his sister, Kim.
Terry will be remembered as a man who played the game of life with everything he had, always racing home to the family that meant the world to him.
