Wendy Allison Jones

Wendy Allison Jones passed away on July 12, 2026, in San Juan Capistrano, California, at the age of 58. She was born on January 18, 1968, in Satellite Beach, Florida, to Victoria Ann and Bobby Lee Jones.

Wendy was a woman of extraordinary spirit whose adventurous heart and fearless nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. She approached life with determination, resilience, and often expressed herself in unique and unforgettable ways.

She graduated from California State University, Sacramento, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and built an exciting career as a domestic-traveling sales representative for Sony, Samsung, and T-Mobile. Using her speaking skills and prominent voice, she specialized in advertising mobile phones, as they were new and upcoming at the time. Her work allowed her to explore the world, something she genuinely loved, as travel and discovering new places were among her greatest passions.

One of Wendy's lifelong loves was horseback riding. She competed nationally in show jumping, proudly riding remarkable horses—including her beloved Jalisco—and clearing fences as high as 5 feet 10 inches. Her courage, discipline, and competitive spirit shined both in and out of the arena.

Wendy embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity. Whether she was riding quads through the desert, skiing on California's snowy slopes, spending sunny days at the beach with her three beloved corgis, or enjoying a boat ride with the wind in her hair—knowing it would leave her with her favorite beach waves—she found joy in adventure. She loved animals deeply, appreciated great food, treasured thoughtful conversations and playful banter, and never turned down the chance to celebrate with family and friends. She had a gift for bringing energy into every room and was often the life of the party.

Above all, Wendy was authentic. She was daring, brave, and unapologetically herself. She wasn't content to simply follow the path others had taken—she created her own. Her strength inspired those around her, and her generous heart touched countless lives. Those who knew her will remember not only her adventurous spirit but also the kindness, loyalty, and vibrant soul that made her truly one of a kind.

Wendy is survived by her beloved son, Slater Sinjin Theisen (22); her cherished daughter, Piper Rae Theisen (19); and her sister, Kimberly Jones Tanner.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, John William Ross Theisen, who passed away in 2017.

She also leaves behind countless friends and loved ones whose lives were enriched by her warmth, laughter, and unforgettable presence.

Though her time with us was far too short, Wendy's adventurous spirit, fearless heart, and boundless love will continue to live on in the memories of everyone who knew her. May we honor her by embracing life with the same courage, curiosity, and joy that she shared so freely.

She was deeply loved. She will be profoundly missed. And her beautiful spirit will never be forgotten.
