Bernardo found joy in the simple but most meaningful parts of life. He loved fishing, hiking, working with his hands as an Electrician, and being surrounded by friends and family. He had a gift for making people feel like they’d known him forever and was truly the life of the party. No matter where he went, he found a way to laugh, have fun, and make sure everyone around him did too. His faith in God guided him through every season, and his greatest pride was his family.
He was a devoted husband to his wife, Tiffany Torres Peña, and a loving father to his “Princess,” Brianna Peña. He worked hard as the sole provider for his family, and nothing brought him more pride than watching Brianna thrive in college as she prepares to graduate.
He is survived by his wife, Tiffany; his “Princess,” Brianna; and his parents, Bernardo Sr. and Olivia Peña. He also leaves behind his sister, Paula Suazo, and her husband, Rigo; his brother, Brian Peña; his nephews, Justin Torres, Ethan, and Elijah Suazo; his sister-in-law, Tori Arreola, and her husband, Omar; and his father-in-law, Pete Torres Jr.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Francisco “Phats” Peña, and his mother-in-law, Judy Torres.
Bernardo’s presence filled every room with warmth, humor, and love, carried by his “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” energy. His family and friends will forever hold his memory close in their hearts.
