She was a strong family-oriented woman, always there to support her family with love and care. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Salvador Fortuno of 24 years. She will be missed by her surviving family; her two children, Alejandro Fortuno and Erica Rizo, her two grandchildren Kevin Cruz and Jocelyn Cruz, her great granddaughter Keila Landaverde and her dog Saber.
Cecilia enjoyed watching historic movies, walking to destinations, walking her dog, spending time with her family, waking up late on the weekends, and going thrift shopping.
She will be remembered for her laughter, her strong will, her motherly care, her dedication to her family, and her delicious rice.
A funeral service will be held on August 6th, 2026 at 12 pm to 2 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sienna.
She will be laid to rest at 3 pm at Houston Memorial Gardens in Pearland.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
