Diana Romero Young

Diana Alejandra Romero Young was born on August the 12th 1995 in Durango Mexico. She passed away peacefully at her home in Houston Texas on August the 15th 2026 at the age of 31. Diana was surrounded by the love of her family in her final moments.

Diana fought a long 6 year battle with cancer, that although difficult, she never let that define who she was. Diana’s kindness was resilient, she lived everyday with purpose and compassion. She also stayed true to herself, speaking her mind and defending others when needed. She had a passion for doing the right thing. She would donate to charity’s, support families in need, and listen to others to offer advice or guidance when they faced similar challenges. She wanted so much for this world.

Diana was preceded in death by her beautiful mother Amelia Vargas. She was survived by her loving husband Alexander Young, her brother Luis Romero and a vast family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and her father Enrique Romero.

The world remains rich with the colors that Diana brought into it. She had a passion for art and used it as a gift for self expression. She nurtured love daily in those special to her and was always unapologetically herself. She found beauty in the everyday through her love of nature with her plants and flowers. She enjoyed the complexity of life and loved stories. Diana enjoyed reading, writing, and engaging in conversations about multitudes of topics. Diana lived fearlessly. Never did she worry for how many tomorrows would come. Instead, Diana favored the now, living in the day, the minute, and the moment.

Visitation will be held at Forest Park Missouri City Funeral Home, 4217 Shipmans Cove Boulevard, Missouri City, TX 77545, US, on August 29, 2026, at 11:00 am.

A Funeral is scheduled for August 29, 2026, at 1:00 pm, with the Funeral to be held at Forest Park Missouri City Funeral Home, 4217 Shipmans Cove Boulevard, Missouri City, TX 77545, US, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life Reception will take place on August 29, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
