Ms. He Jingjing was born on October 1, 1949, in a military family in Wuchang District, Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. She passed away due to illness on April 7, 2026, and now rests in the Lord’s embrace at the age of 76.
From a young age, Ms. He was diligent in her studies and upright in character. She graduated from Wuchang No. 6 Cotton Mill Primary School in 1962, Wuchang Girls’ Middle School in 1965, and completed her medical studies at Gongda in 1969. After graduation, she worked in grassroots medical services for four years, consistently serving others with dedication, responsibility, and diligence.
In 1974, Ms. He married Mr. Wang Jiazhi. Together they built a harmonious and loving family and were blessed with a son and a daughter. In 1975, she was transferred to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hubei Medical College (now Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University), where she worked in the Department of Radiology as a chief technologist, specializing in medical imaging. She was conscientious, devoted, and always striving for excellence in her work until her honorable retirement in 2004.
Throughout her life, Ms. He exemplified virtue and kindness. She was a loving mother, a devoted wife cherished by her husband, and a woman widely praised for her grace and character. Generous, compassionate, and kind-hearted, she often helped those in need with gentleness and sincerity. She treated others with honesty and warmth, earning the deep respect, love, and remembrance of her family, friends, and all who knew her. She pursued excellence in all things, held strong ideals and aspirations, and demonstrated courage, strength, and a deep sense of responsibility.
On December 8, 2019, Ms. He and her husband, Mr. Wang, were baptized and came to Christ, becoming devoted Christians. From that time on, she continually sought spiritual growth. During her eight-year battle with illness, she remained steadfast in her faith, engaging in daily devotionals and recording 2,861 reflections on Scripture and spiritual insights in her journal. Throughout nearly 3,000 days of struggle, she displayed remarkable perseverance and faith, constantly seeking God and drawing comfort, strength, and hope from His Word. Her life became a beautiful testimony to the Lord.
As it is written in Psalm 23:4:
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
Ms. He’s life was one of loving God and loving others—a life marked by faithfulness, kindness, and endurance. Though she has departed from us, she leaves behind a precious legacy of faith, a testimony of love, and deep remembrance.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Mr. Wang Jiazhi; her cherished daughter, Ms. Wang Qiong; her dearly loved son, Mr. Wang Lian; and her loving grandchildren, Wang Shengming and Hao Yue, along with other family members who loved her deeply.
May Ms. He rest in the Lord’s peace, and may the Lord Himself bring comfort to all her beloved family.
