Paul Walter Spain, born on January 8, 1945 in Martin Ridge, La, was sent to his eternal home on September 2, 2026 in Missouri City, TX. He was raised in Jeanerette, Louisiana to the late Walter Spain Jr and Louise Gipson Spain. Paul fought a courageous battle, never once complaining. When asked how are you feeling today, he would always say “I’m doing great”.
Preceded in death by his parents Walter Spain Jr and Rose Mae Gash Spain, James Spain(brother), Betty Spain(sister), Rodgers Elliott(brother), Walter Spain(son). Paul leaves to cherish his precious memories his Wife Margaret Spain; Daughters LaTiqua Oneal (Willie) & Simone Singleton, Chris Spain (son). Also surviving him is Elizah Spain (Helena), Bobbie Jones (sister); his grandchildren, great grandchild, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Paul he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Visitation will be held at Forest Park Missouri City Funeral Home, 4217 Shipmans Cove Boulevard, Missouri City, TX 77545, US, on September 19, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by the Funeral at the same location on September 19, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Committal will take place at Paradise Cemetery South, 2237 Cullen Blvd, Pearland, TX 77581, US, on September 19, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
