Abbie Doody Pearson

She is preceded in death by her parents Abbie Doody and James W. Doody, Jr., her husband of 39 years Sidney Francis Pearson, Sr. and her granddaughter Mary Augusta (Maggie) Galle.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Skip) Galle, sons Sidney (Susan) Pearson, Robert (Anne) Pearson and Philip Pearson. She is also survived by six granddaughters, Kathleen (Dave) Kramberg, Sarah (James) Segelke, Amy and Elizabeth Pearson, Isabelle and Lilly Pearson and two great granddaughters Sydney and Carly Segelke as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Pearson was a long-time member of St. Mary Parish and St. Catherine Parish an active volunteer for many Catholic organizations including the ACCW, the Little Sisters of the Poor, Ladies of Charity, St. Mary Sodality and the St. Mary Catholic School PTA. She was also manager of Quilts and Calicos Shop in Mobile and was founder of the Azalea City Quilters Guild.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, August 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Catholic Cemetery in Mobile.
