Mr. Abraham Jacob “Richard” Tolpin, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Cohn Tolpin. His greatest pride and enjoyment were his wife, his family and his business. Mr. Tolpin was owner and operator of Atkinson Jewelry for 44 years. He was an active member of Spring Hill Avenue Temple. He was a member of the Rotary Club International-Prichard and Heron Lakes Country Club, and enjoyed playing bridge with his friends. Mr. Tolpin is survived by his children, Richard (Sheilah) Tolpin, Daniel (Darlin) Tolpin; grandchildren, Adam (Caitlin) Tolpin, Kati (Mason) Green and two great-grandchildren, Emily and Grayson Green. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in Spring Hill Avenue Temple Cemetery, Owens Street, Mobile, AL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spring Hill Avenue Temple, Mobile, AL.
