Alice Eaves Lewis

Alice Eaves Lewis, 67, of Wilmer, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016. Alice was born in Mobile to Claude Eaves and Fannie Holley Eaves. She worked as a Circuit Clerk for Mobile County for twenty eight years. In her down time, she loved to crochet, putting together puzzles with friends at the Wilmer Senior Center, singing in the church choir, and helping others. She was a member of Wilmer United Methodist Church.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Kevin Eaves. She is survived by her husband, Victor G. Lewis; three daughters, Angela R. (Milton) Pledger, Elizabeth (John) Caleo, and Kristen Marvin; nine grandchildren, Savanah, Eternity, Serenity, Ambrosia, Caroline, Abigail, Carleigh, Ian, and Erica; her twin sister, Emily (Wynton) Hodges; her sister Claudette (Gaines) Todd; sister-in-law Latisha Eaves and nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Alice will be Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m., with the Funeral Service to follow. Both will be held at Wilmer United Methodist Church. Interment will be at Wilmer Cemetery.
