A native Mobilian, Alice Lucille Davis was born October 25, 1920 and died peacefully at home on April 18, 2017. Lucille graduated from Murphy High School and while there was a participant in the Azalea Trail Court. She began her career at First National Bank of Mobile and retired as a manager at the Tillman’s Corner Branch. She held the honor of being the first woman officer of the bank. Her greatest joy in life were her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Kitty Eloise Dudley and father Roy Jackson Dudley and her loving husband Issac Luther Davis Jr., four siblings: Roy S. Dudley, A. Bruce Dudley, Jack Dudley and Eloise Dudley Abrams. She is survived by her cousin Lucille Egan, niece Betty Jo Springfield, her three children John Kenneth Sayers II and his wife Ouida, Cynthia S. Tomlinson and Pamela S. King and her husband Thomas. Six grandchildren: Lowrey D. Tomlinson, Michelle L. Tomlinson, John Kenneth Sayers III (Laura), Stephanie S. Farmer (Randall), William Thomas King Jr. (Lacy), Howard D. King (Teresa), as well as nine great grandchildren Savannah F. King, Ella L. King, Clara L. King, Anna N. King, Avery K. Sayers, James R. Farmer, Grant C. Farmer, Chad E. Nelson and C. Evan Nelson, and her dear friend of 50 years Linda Stice Harris. A family Graveside will be held at Magnolia Cemetery on Friday April 20, 2017 at 1:00 pm.
