Amanda Hammac Raine

Mrs. Amanda "Peggy" Hammac Lamey Raine, age 77, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her son Patrick Joseph Lamey, Jr., parent, Cornelius and Hattie Ruth Hammac, two sisters, Joy amd Pollly and two brother, Ronald and Douglas. Mrs. Raine was retired as Payroll Director of Morrison Corporation after 37 years of service. She was an active member of Regency Church of Christ. She was a Junior Achievement Sponsor, league bowler and a member of the Azalea City Quilting Guild. Mrs. Raine was known affectionately as "Aunt Peggy" by all who loved her. She is survived by her husband, Stuart Raine and children, Cathy Lamey (Mike), Terri Lamey Robinson and Erin Nordan (Claud). She is also survived by her brother, Donald Hammac (Donna Jean), brother-in-law, Thomas Phillips, grandchildren, James Patrick Lamey, Jonathan Edwin Lamey, Juanita Louise Nordan (Neal), Megan Lamey Meier (Mike), Chris Nordan, Amy Torp (Jason), Lynn Smith (Rob) and great-grandchildren, Emmett, Jet, Nathan and Sarah, many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. Visitation will be held at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
