Angele Cook Sherrin

Mrs. Sherrin attended St. Mary's Catholic School and graduated from Murphy High School. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church for 47 years and was active with the Meals on Wheels Program. She also volunteered with the Alzheimer's Association for 10 years. She was employed at Brookley Air Force Base and retired from the Mobile County Health Department.

Mrs. Sherrin was preceded in death by her husband, George Walker Sherrin, Jr. She is survived by her son, G. Walker (Lana) Sherrin; her granddaughter, Christine Angele (CW4 David) Malone; two great-granddaughters, Meghan Malone and Rachel Malone; one sister, Guili Cook Geary; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 1 P.M. on Tuesday in the Sarto Center at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will be in Catholic Cemetery.
