Obituary of Angelica Febus Morales Gonzalez
Angelica Febus Morales Gonzalez, age 91, of Eight Mile, Alabama passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022. Angelica was born, Sunday, June 14, 1931, in Puerto Rico, to the late Antonio and Justina Morales Febus. She graduated from Wilfred Academy as a hairstylist and won hair competitions. Angelica enjoyed visiting the Casino's, listening to music, traveling, and dancing. She loved attending church and fellowship with her church family. Angelica and her late husband Augustin would take part in the dance competitions at church always taking first place. She always took great pride in her hair, make-up, and her pristine nails. Angelica was always proud of her native island and loved to visit as often as she could. She will be remembered for the devout wife, attentive mother, great sister, spoiling the lights of her life, her grandchildren, and being a wonderful friend. Angelica was preceded in passing by her parents; her beloved husband of sixty-five years, Augustin Gonzalez, Sr., one son, Augustin Gonzalez, Jr.; one brother; five sisters; and one son-in-law, Fernando Benhabib. Left to cherish Angelica's beautiful memories will be her two daughters: Elizabeth Almodovar (Gary), Yolanda Benhabib (Edwin Perez); nine grandchildren: Andreas Almodovar (Crystal), Jesse Almodovar (Paola), Daniel Almodovar, Stephanie Almodovar, Gabriel Almodovar (Natalia), Samuel Almodovar (Heraiza), Jasmin Benhabib Torres (Edgar), Christine Benhabib Santiago (Manny), Natalie Benhabib; seventeen great-grandchildren: Natalia, Ezekiel, Emanuel, Johnathan, Deanna, Vivianna, Peyton, Elijah, Anaya, Gabriela, Elias, Levi, Ariana, Christian, Alina, MJ, Lucas; along with many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends. A visitation for Angelica will be held Monday, August 1, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606. The family would like to extend their warmest gratitude to Adelina and Luz for the friendship, care, and compassion always expressed to Angelica. A special thank you to all of our friends and family for all of the prayers and outreach during this great time of need. A special thank you to her niece, Iraida Rodriquez for always being attentive to Angelica’s needs and the profound love always expressed. Memorials may be made in honor of Angelica Gonzalez to the Alzheimer’s Association at, or the charity of your choice. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at for the Gonzalez family.
