Anne Carroll Smith - born in Gainesville, FL on August 6, 1914, to the late Edward L. and Matilda Norwood Carroll, and a longtime resident of Mobile passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Mobile.
Anne was preceded in death by her husband, C. Perry Smith; her brother, Norwood L. Carroll; and her nephew, William Boykin Jones, Jr. (Kay). She is survived by her cousin, Virginia Cox Jones, nephew; William Boykin Jones, III (Lauren); niece, Anne Jones Williams (Campbell).
A memorial service was held Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at the First Baptist Church of Mobile. Interment will be Monday, September 23, 2013, in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gotha, FL.
