Annie Mae Tillman Alexander

Annie Mae Tillman Alexander, age 81, a resident of Irvington, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at a local hospital with family by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Alexander; her parents, Audrey and Buren Tillman; brothers, Junior Tillman, DeVan Tillman, Dewitt Tillman; and sisters, Darlene Tillman, Maxine Neilson, and Anna Jean Tillman. She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda (Allen) Mayfield and Kelly (Roger) Milne; sons, Greg Alexander, Darwin Alexander, and Glenn Alexander; granddaughters, Stefanie (Tim) Joosten and Felicia Alexander; grandsons, Britt Alexander, Brandon Alexander, Ben (Kara) Mayfield, Alex Mayfield, Dean Mayfield, James Milne, Michael (Haliegh) Milne, and Ryan Milne; great-grandchildren: Lindsay, Henry, Eliza, and Leah Mayfield, Nolan Milne and Hutson Joosten; brothers, George Tillman and Peter John Tillman; a sister, Marie “Sister” Miller; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other cherished family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Coden United Methodist Church: 14943 Coden Belt Road West, Coden, Alabama 36523, with a funeral service immediately following. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Officiating will be Ed Baumgarten and Ben Mayfield.

Assisting as pallbearers: Ben Mayfield, Alex Mayfield, Dean Mayfield, James Milne, Michael Milne, and Ryan Milne.
