Annie Lucille Simmons - Age 95, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile County, Alabama, died July 21, 2012. Mrs. Simmons was an avid reader, especially her Bible and Upper Room. She and her husband of 66 years enjoyed fishing and gardening, and growing beautiful azaleas and camellias. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Stanley Simmons. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Simmons (Nelson) Fore and Margaret Simmons Raney; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the loving, caring staff at Cody Brookside. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in Memory Gardens of Fairhope. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Simmons' name to your favorite charity.
