A man of strong faith, Jim was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and also served as a Lay Minister. He loved people, playing golf, and watching the Crimson Tide play football. He enjoyed Mardi Gras and was a member of a mystic society.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Bolter; his daughter, Ginger Bolter; his son, Anthony "Tony" James Bolter, III, and his wife, Connie; his brother, Hank Bolter; brother-in-law, Lee Cooper and his wife, Janna; two "favorite" granddaughters, Rachel and Meredith Bolter; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held from St. Andrew's Episcopal Church on Saturday, September 3, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 1854 Staples Rd., Mobile, AL 36605.
