Aquilla G. Moorer

She worked for Dr. Samuel M. Richardson, III, MD, in Semmes. She retired from McVay Clinic and worked for Mobile County Public School System for many years.

She was preceded in death by beloved husband, Franklin “Frank” Jackson, Moorer, Sr., her parents, John Key and Ruby Myrtle Horne Gurely.

She is survived by and dearly missed by her daughter, Fran Moorer; son, Franklin Moorer, Jr.; grandchildren, Elizabeth Pierce, Darrell Reed, Keegan Reed, McKenzie Cline and Taylor Moorer; great grandchildren, Emily, Mallory, Rylan, Laikynn, Charleigh, and Lyndon; siblings, Carolyn Trehern, Eva Doris Holsenbeck, Teresa Gipson, and Harold Dover Gurley, also, survived by other relatives family and friends.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Valhalla Memorial Gardens, Eight Mile, Alabama.
