Archie Joseph Leibert III

Archie Joseph Leibert III, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the age of 92. A loving and devoted husband and father, devout Roman Catholic, proud Veteran and Officer serving in the United States Air Force in World War II, avid golfer, and long time member of St. Dominic Catholic Church, St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, and St. Vincent Catholic Church. He retired as Controller/Treasurer of Lerio Corporation in 1987. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy C. Leibert, parents Archie J. and Agnes C. Leibert, Jr. of Mobile, sisters Mrs. Genevieve Flood of Jacksonville, Florida, Mrs. Marie L. Ankersen and C. Marilyn Leibert of Mobile. Archie is survived by daughters Barbara A. Leibert, Sharon Leibert, and son Barry J. Leibert (Susan) and sisters Mrs. Mary S. Robertson of San Antonio, Texas and Mrs. Jacqueline L. Davis of Mobile. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Dominic Catholic Church on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 am. Internment with military honors will be celebrated at the Catholic Cemetery of Mobile.
