Bernice Prine Walker

Bernice Prine Walker – an 88 year-old native of Citronelle, AL resident of Mobile passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at a local hospital. She was a member of Government Street Baptist Church. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles Orrin Walker, and two loving sons, Guy M. Walker and Frederick “Keith” Walker. She is survived by her remaining children, Donald W. Walker (Gail) of Elizabeth City, NC, Kathy W. Berlage (Rick) of Mobile, and Patricia W. Parten (Johnny) of Saraland; sister, Helen Hamilton (Charles) of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many cherished nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 9, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Interment will in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery on Prine Road in Citronelle.
