Bessie Ruth Davenport, 92 and a resident of Mobile, AL passed away Friday, August 21, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Davenport. She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her 3 children: Linda (Kenneth) Walker of Creola, Vance Davenport of Mobile, Son Davenport of Mobile; 1 grandchild Scherrie (Steven) Brewer of Creola; 2 great-grandchildren Victoria and Savannah Brewer; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home. Interment will be at Pine Crest Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, immediately following the chapel service.
