Betsy Crook

Betsy Campbell Crook died on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at University Hospital, Mobile, AL surrounded by family and friends. Betsy was born on April 4, 1957 in Hazelhurst, MS. For the past year and a half, Betsy resided in her happy place-Dauphin Island, Alabama.

She is survived by her loving husband of sixteen years Willie Crook; her brother Joe Campbell (Katy); nephews, Chris Campbell (Keri), Cooper Campbell; great nieces Caroline and Payton; great nephews Parker and Carson; brother-in-law Walter Crook; and her special lifelong friend Cathy Sessums. Betsy is also survived by an extended family of friends too numerous to count. Betsy was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Clyda Mae Campbell and her son Jack Randazzo.

Betsy’s joy for life was untouchable. She was generous to anyone in need and never met a stranger. Betsy’s wish was for everyone to remember her with a smile and a toast to life and happiness. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Betsy’s life at Islander Restaurant, Dauphin Island, Alabama on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
