Betty Marie Benton Chenoweth

Mrs. Betty Marie Benton Chenoweth, age 85, a native and longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, surrounded by her three children at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, George “Gale” Chenoweth; parents, Felix and Mary Kelley Benton; siblings, Carl E. Benton, Alice B. Walker, Jack D. Benton, Ellen B. Sellew and Dick Benton. She is survived by her children, Loretta C. Barton, Richard E. (Ranee) Chenoweth, Connie C. Guess; grandchildren, Jim (Kimberly) Barton, Chrissa L. Chenoweth, Krysten O. Chenoweth, Richard “Ricky” Gale Chenoweth, Anthony Tony (Chelsea) Benton Chenoweth, Christopher Lee (Brittney) Guess, Chance Buchanan Guess; great grandchildren, Ward and Georgianne Barton, Journey Isabella Herren, Ava Joy Guess and Zoe Faith Guess and her loving caregivers, Abi, Shellie, Amber, Jan, Amy, Jessica and Diane. Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Pine Crest Cemetery.
