Betty Jean Cullinane

She was predeceased by her parents, Gladys Lucille Gray Ellinberg and Daniel Clark “DC” Salley, and sister, Gracie S. Weeks.

Betty Jean is survived by her brother, Daniel Dwight Salley (Mary) of Franklinton, LA, and daughters, Salley C. Beck (John) of Fairhope, Paula C. Butler of Chickasaw, and Laura Cullinane (Mark Froelicher) of St. Petersburg, FL. She is also survived by an extended circle of loving family including 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and cousins.

Betty Jean was born in Philadelphia, Mississippi and later moved with her family to the Mobile area. After her marriage she traveled extensively and lived in numerous states and US territories before eventually settling back in Mobile. After retiring from her career as a bookkeeper, she devoted her time to her family and hobbies including gardening and cooking.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Celeste Road, Saraland, Alabama 36571.
