Betty loved volunteering for her church and community. She was a member of St. Dominic’s Jubilee Travel Club, AT&T Pioneers, and the Bingo Babes. Betty especially loved being a Memaw to her grandchildren and great-grandson.
Immediate survivors include daughter Kimberly Havard Diano; sons James Willis Havard, Jr. and Richard Thomas Havard (wife Paula Tatum Havard); sister Shelia Goff Richard; grandchildren “Bennett” Benedict Francis Diano IV, Caitlin Allyson Diano, Tatum Olivia Havard, Grace Claire Havard, Luke Thomas Havard; great-grandson Benedict Francis Diano V. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Little Flower Catholic Church at 1 p.m. Interment will immediately follow at Pine Crest Cemetery.
