Betty Pearl Bryan Howle, age 82, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. Betty was born June 10, 1937 in Mobile, Alabama to Arvelie Gorum Bryan and Arcus Bryan.

Betty is survived by her children, Andrew Howle (Dewanna), Kay Smith (Scott), Bobby Howle (Phyllis), and Dennis Howle (Gayle); siblings, Billy Ray Bryan (Merlene), Oral Bryan, Annie Cochran (Buddy), Marilyn Bryan, and Lucille Willard; ten grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew "Jack" Howle; a daughter; father, Arcus Bryan; mother, Arvelie Gorum Bryan; and sister, Alice Faye Bryan.

A visitation for Betty will be held Friday, May 22, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama 36606. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Palestine Missionary Baptist Cemetery, 4300 Palestine Rd, Wilmer, Alabama 36587. Interment will follow at Palestine Missionary Baptist Cemetery, 4300 Palestine Rd, Wilmer, Alabama 36587.

Serving as pallbearers are Andy Howle, Bobby Howle, Dennis Howle, Emmanuel Howle, James Howle, and Michael Grissett.

I never met Mrs. Betty but it seems like I have known her all my life. I know her through a friend who spoke of her often. She was the Rock of the family. She was a Giving Kind Lady. All tho I never met her, I will miss her and I will pray for the family often.
