Betty Lois Honeycutt Teaford, a native of Townley, Alabama born March 28, 1931 and a resident of Saraland, Alabama passed away peacefully on December 28, 2023.

She retired from Mobile County Public School System as a teacher and librarian at Saraland School.

She loved the outdoors, spending time at the hunting camp, caring for her family, and playing with her great - grandchildren. She was longtime member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was a loving and faithful wife to her husband of 57 years, Harry Teaford, Sr., who, along with her daughter, Donna Teaford Wittmann, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son, Harry Teaford, Jr., she leaves behind her three devoted granddaughters, Amanda (Joey) Foster, Sara (Blake) Cooper and Lindsey (Brandon) Dana; the light of her life – eight great - grandchildren, Tanner, Gracie, and Cullen Foster, Kaydence and Eli Cooper, Jake and Carrie Dana, and Donna Wittmann; two grandsons, Brian and Jonathan Wittmann; daughter – in - law, Vernie Cross; son – in - law, Gary Wittmann

Special Thanks to the loving staff at Proveer Heritage Woods for their precious care of Ms. Teaford.

Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 11:00 1.m.at Oak Hill Cemetery, Jasper, Alabama.
