

Bill Boynton, born Feb. 28, 1923 in Albany, GA died at home on Jan. 21, 2017 at the age of 93. Mr. Boynton was pre-deceased by his wife Dean Daniels Boynton and son Greg K Boynton. He is survived by his daughter Lynn B Jackson and son-in-law Fred L Jackson, Jr., granddaughters Michelle Jackson, Kathleen (Zach) Coffman, and Heather (Brandon) Bell and great grandchildren Taylor, Gabe, Jackson, Lily, Greg, Aubrey, Brady and Eliza. Also surviving are brothers Clarence E Boynton, Peachtree City, GA, and James O. (Bonnie) Hall, Panama City, FL, and a sister Jeanne Hall, Nashville, TN, as well as one aunt and numerous nephews and nieces.
Mr. Boynton was a retired claims and loss manager for Royal Globe Insurance Co. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U. S. Army Air Corps. Mr. Boynton was a long time member of Spring Hill Baptist Church, an officer of Mobile Claims Men's Association, past PTA president at E R Dickson, a former member of Skyline Country Club, numerous mystic societies and the American Arbitration Association.
Mr. Boynton will be remembered for putting a smile on the face of everyone he met.
Visitation will be Friday, January 27, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Spring Hill Baptist Church. Services will be held from the Chapel of Spring Hill Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery Mobile, Al. Dr. Terry Ellis will officiate.
